Mario E. Rodriguez

Mario is a photographer based in North Palm Beach, Florida, working across documentary and fine art traditions. His current long-term project documents Riviera Beach within the lineage of the New Topographics.

He completed the one-year program at the International Center of Photography and for the past two and a half years has been working through Christopher Giglio's The Grammar of Photography, a ten-course sequence of which he is now completing the eighth. He has also studied in workshops with Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb, Phil Penman, Thorsten Overgaard, Joel Grimes, Stephen Wilkes, and Julia Dean. He was an invited artist for the Los Angeles Center of Photography's Reservoir: Photography, Loneliness & Well Being project in 2025.

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mario was born in London, England, raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and has lived in the US for over three decades.
